closely watching sugartwist fans will notice Chandiss' hair has never *ever* been quite the same color twice... So maybe it's no big surprise that our girl with the ultra-red hair is now a blonde! For now we'll leave it a mystery as to which hue she's worn so far is closest to what's nestled in her DNA...but it's no big hint to suggest it's prolly not the hot pink...

At any rate, as a golden girl she seems for the moment quite comfortable... and you'll agree it's a pleasure to see yet another stripe in the rainbow that is Chandiss.

Silent as these images are, out of her many talents the one *not* on display here is her voice, which happily, is showcased elsewhere. Nevertheless, this shoot is killer... Chandiss shows off her formidable skills as model, dancer, and fashion designer with her trademark expressive grace, wearing a seductively translucent white dress from her own Twistid Elegance line.

Though she's only been a model for a about a year, Virginia's got the goods... not just good-looking, she has a talent for bringing a subtle energy to a shoot that takes an image beyond your typical glamour shot. Her unique but somehow familiar look has been compared to many big-name beauties like Leelee Sobieksi and Julianne Moore.

Virginia's gearing up for travel this year, and she plans on meeting with photographers in San Francisco this spring, and the Czech Republic in the summer...all to further hone her modeling skills. Well, that's not the only reason...Eastern Europe (and the male population thereof) holds a particular attraction for her: "I actually had a dream that I'd meet my future mate in Prague," she shyly admits. Long and leggy 19-year-old Alix is as smoldering as they come...an electric third rail of a girl who absolutely loves the camera. As if you can't tell....

A year ago, a model scout found this California girl working behind the counter at a sandwich shop, and asked if she'd like to be in a fashion show for i can.d... Though she was skeptical at first -- after all, is "wanna be a model" an original line? -- a chance word to her hairstylist confirmed that it was a good opportunity, and he urged her to go for it. Since then she's done a ton of fashion shows and photo shoots, and shows no signs of slowing down.

So, what does Alix like to do when she's not flaunting her charms? She declares that comic books are a major hobby... and not just flimsy tales of men in tights, but critically acclaimed graphic novels like Strangers in Paradise. Still, the classics hold a special place in her heart, and without hesitation she names Superman as her all-time favorite. "When I was little, my best friend and I would play Superman and Batman...I'd always make her be Batman!"

Mastermind behind the clothing line i can.d, Katie models her own designs in this, the second of a four-part shoot that we did one afternoon in an old junkyard. The camera watches again as Katie frolics tastily amongst the decrepit mail trucks, rusted-out school buses, and trashed 70s-era love vans.
